Gina Ann Fliegel

1963-2006

A funeral Mass for Gina Ann Fliegel, 43, a 16-year Gardnerville resident, will be 11 a.m. July 8 at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Fliegel died June 24, 2006, in Gardnerville. She was born May 18, 1963, in Los Angeles to Thomas and Margaret Brady.

She married Gregg Fliegel on March 18, 1987, in Culver City, Calif.

Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Fliegel lived in El Segundo, Calif.

She was a graduate of El Segundo High School and had attended WNCC's computer graphics program.

She enjoyed art, nature, animals, fly-fishing, photography, computer science and graphic arts.

She was a realtor.

She was a member of the National Association of Realtors and was a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; her daughter Nicole Van Gorder and her family of Wellington; children Kiris, Thomas and Jesse Fliegel, all of Gardnerville; father of El Segundo, Calif.; sister Monica Salcisdo, of Hawthorne, Calif.; brothers Joseph Brady of Lindon, Utah, and John Brady of Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Barton Memorial Hospice in Minden.

Gary A. Chandler

1943-2006

A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. July 15 at the El Segundo Fire Department in Southern California for Gary A. Chandler, 62, who died June 20, 2006 at the Carson Tahoe Emergency room.

Mr. Chandler was born Sept. 27, 1943, to Al and Margaret (Ward) Chandler. He married Patricia A. Moskun. He was a Battalion Chief at El Segundo Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Patti Chandler of Minden; son Patrick and his wife Carrie Chandler and his son Michael Chandler. He is also survived by his parents Al and Margaret Chandler; brother Glen Chandler; two grandchildren Bryce and Megan as well as his former wife and mother of his children Jeri.

Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Gary A. Chandler Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, account no. 8224527104. A tree will be planted in memory of Gary Chandler along the walking path in Saratoga Springs Estates.

Kristine Ann Reger

1952-2006

A memorial service for Kristine Ann Reger, 54, a six-year Yerington resident, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Highway 208 in Yerington.

Mrs. Reger died June 28, 2006, at her home. She was born April 30, 1952, in Ankara, Turkey, to Robert and Gloria Meade.

She married Arthur Frank Reger in Burbank, Calif., on Dec. 9, 1972.

Before moving to Yerington, Mrs. Reger lived in Chester, Calif.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Lilliput Motor Co., and was a life member of Soroptimist International of Chester.

Among her survivors are her husband of Yerington; sons and daughters-in-law Bryan and Tina Reger of Yerington, and Jeremy and Char Fowler of Minot, N.D.; sisters Sandy Cable of Genoa and Carol Rickard of Hopewell, N.J.; brothers Robert Meade of Moses Lake, Wash., and Tony Rickard of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
