Two boys and a girl who broke into Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School were caught on videotape eating candy and stashing unknown items in white plastic bags.
Officials investigating the June 20 burglary said the security tape indicated the trespassers were in the food storage area between 1-2 a.m.
They were described as a two white males and a white female.
According to reports, the school staff was attempting to identify the intruders they suspect may be students.
The break-in occurred shortly after the school closed for the summer.
A custodian who arrived at the school at 5:45 a.m. June 20 discovered the break-in and contacted the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies believe the intruders gained entry through an unlocked door which lead into a classroom.
The suspects were observed on the tape eating candy and other foods and taking sodas from the cafeteria.
There also was evidence they broke into the kitchen office and pried open a locked 4-door file cabinet.
The suspects also went into the coaches' office and went through files.
