County's little misses chosen

Thirty-nine contestants vied for the titles of: Baby Miss Douglas County, 2-3 year olds; Wee Miss Douglas County, 4-5 year olds; Tiny Miss Douglas County, first through third graders; Little Miss Douglas County, fourth and fifth grade; Junior Miss Douglas County, sixth and eighth grade; and Teen Miss Douglas County, ninth and 11th grade.

The contestants competed Saturday in the Little Miss Douglas County Pageant at the Dance Workshop Studio in Minden in three areas: interview, modeling and talent.

Miss South Lake Tahoe Annie Austin and Nevada's Outstanding Teen Raechel Prosser were emcees for the pageant. Contestants were judged by Rebecca Wallstrum, Sarah Ferris, Adriana McEntire, Suzette Bennett, Kari Ramos and Brooke Westlake. The auditor was Stacie Hunter.
