St. Patrick's Day is today and the Carson Valley Inn is marking the holiday with their traditional bountiful Irish buffet in the Shannon Ballroom plus a free slot play bonus for all adults who attend.
The Irish buffet in the Carson Valley Inn Shannon Ballroom is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., featuring carved leg of Wicklow spring lamb, Guinness beef and vegetable stew, corned beef and cabbage, leek and Irish whiskey poached salmon, Irish lamb stew, stewed chicken with broth and herbs and a variety of other Irish entrees, salads, side dishes and desserts. The price is $8.95 for children up to 10 years old. INN Club members may redeem points for St. Patrick's Day Buffet comps.
During the buffet, the Shannon Pub will be serving Smithwick's beer, Black and Tans, Guinness beer and Irish coffees at special prices for those partaking in the Irish buffet.
