The Sierra Lutheran boys' basketball team finished out its first full varsity season in impressive fashion, picking up a victory over Gerlach, a team that had beaten the Falcons by 24 points earlier in the year.
The junior varsity boys also closed out the year with a victory over Coleville.
At the team's end-of-the-year awards banquet, senior Cameron Hart won the leadership award and most inspirational award. Sophomore Lane Pawloski was named the team's most improved player and sophomore Taylor Love was named the team's top defender.
At the junior varsity level, sophomore Stephen Deterding was given the leadership award, freshman Bob DePaoli was named most improved and freshman Aaron Bender was named most inspirational.
