The Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club annual Easter egg hunt is coming up Sunday, April 16.
It has become a Carson Valley 20-30 tradition to take on the task of boiling and dying 400 dozen eggs and scattering them throughout Lampe Park.
This year will be no different.
The Easter Egg Hunt has a shot gun start at 1 p.m., with three different age groups.
The organization raises funds for special needs children in Douglas County. Proceeds made support organizations that include, but are not limited to:
Douglas County Parks and Recreation Programs, Miss Douglas County Organization, Douglas County 4-H Dragon Club, Douglas County Little League, Carson Valley Girls Softball, Purple Ribbon Coalition, Family Support Council, Kid's Fishing Derby, Project Santa Claus, Child Spree, American Youth Soccer Organization and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
The organization is asking for help with a donation of hard-boiled eggs or a cash donation.
The Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club is a non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code and donations are tax deductible (contact your tax advisor).
