Josefina Sigala led the Lady Tigers swim team in a narrow loss to Spanish Springs Friday.
Sigala won the 500 free (5:48.17) and the 100 breaststroke (1:12.01) and anchored the 200 free relay to a win with a time of (1:52.43). She was joined in the relay by Katie O'Neill, Kaylee Hames and Whitney Simpson.
O'Neill won the 200 IM in 2:29.57 and took second in the 100 butterfly (1:08.02). Hames took third in the 100 fly (1:12.00) and Simpson took third in the 500 free (6:11.31). Simpson took second in the 200 IM (2:34.68).
Rebecca Chappell won the 200 free (2:06.83) and Mandy Moore took second (2:23.30).
Moore took third in the 100 free (1:07.37) and Amanda McRae took third in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.00).
Sara Sigala took second in the 100 free (59.62) and the 100 back (1:12.09) and Virginia Evans took third in the 50 free with a time of 30.75.
On the boys' side, Douglas also suffered a narrow loss at the hands of the Cougars, but Marco Hyman won the 100 back and the 200 free, Blake Maxwell won the 100 free and Paul Von won the 500 free.
The 400 free relay team of Hyman, Maxwell, Ben Weiss and Sean Vogl won with a time of 3:59.82.
Sean Vogl took second in the 100 free and third in the 100 breaststroke while Won took second in the 100 breaststroke.
James Barnard took third in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly and Maxwell took third in the 50 free.
