Johnson Lane home target of burglary

A 1997 vehicle and household items worth nearly $19,000 were reported taken from a Johnson Lane home in an apparent burglary March 28.

The owners of the residence in the 1100 block of Stephanie Way told deputies they returned from work to discover the garage door and front door were open.

A 1997 Toyota 4-Runner was missing that the owners said was valued at $12-15,000 for a total reported loss of more than $30,000.

Items taken from the residence included video equipment, cameras, computer equipment and jewelry.

Douglas County Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspects.

Payment is made in any form the caller prefers. The caller will remain anonymous.
