Douglas Animal Welfare Group will sponsor a Used Pet Sale adoption event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.
DAWG will offer a free spay/neuter for every adult animal adopted during the event. Lots of goodies and give-a-ways will also be provided with every adoption.
The animal shelter is located at 921 Pinenut Road across from the fairgrounds in Gardnerville. The mission of DAWG is to improve the lives and adoptability of the dogs and cats at the animal shelter.
