Kurtz, Killian to wed

Warren and Donna Kurtz of Gardnerville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Brianna Ashley Kurtz to Seth Orion Killian.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Cave Spring High School and The Roanoke Valley Governor's School of Science and Technology, Roanoke, Va., a 2004 graduate of Vanderbuilt University, Nashville, Tenn. with a bachelor of science in engineering and is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, pursuing a master of mathematics degree, graduating in 2007. She is employed by the Carson City School District and Western Nevada Community College and is a trumpet player in the Carson City Symphony.

The future groom, son of Johnny Killian of Ione, Wash., and Susan Thompson of Caldwell, Idaho, is a 1998 graduate of Selkirk High School, Metaline, Wash., and a 2004 graduate of ITT Technical Institute, Boise, Idaho, with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He is employed by GE Energy in Minden and is pursuing a commercial helicopter pilot's license through High Sierra Helicopters in Placerville, Calif.


The wedding will take place Sept. 2, at the Orchard House in Genoa.
