Autism fundraiser set for Aug. 4-5

The Families For Effective Autism Treatment "Autism Benefit for Children Weekend" will include a golf tournament at Genoa Lakes Golf Course on Aug. 4 and then a dinner concert on Aug. 5 at Buffalo Creek Ranch in Gardnerville.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports that one in 166 children suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorder and 50 families a day receive the news that they have a loved one diagnosed with ASD

The cost to participate in the "Buffalo Creek Invitational Golf Tournament - Benefiting FEAT" is $300 per person ($200 tax deductible). Sponsorship's are available ($500 each) and organizers welcome any other assistance.

The dinner concert event sold out last year. Entrance tickets for the dinner/concert will be $75 per person.

David John and the Comstock Cowboys will provide entertainment.
