Watch out for roadwork through Gardnerville starting midnight Tuesday, when they will be doing road work about ¾ of a mile south of Gilman Lane.
According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, traffic will be down to one lane and routed into opposing lanes Tuesday and Wednesday for utilities work.
Work will be completed at night between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
It looks the high temperatures today and Tuesday will be the warmest we'll see for a couple of months. The high today is supposed to reach 70 and the weather will be sunny and warm. The high on Tuesday will hit 74, but the winds will pick up, blowing out of the west at 13 mph and gusting to 22, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters have backed off from their prediction of rain on Wednesday, dropping it to 20 percent, but they've upped the chance of precipitation over the weekend. The high on Wednesday will hit 62 and then drop to 49. It's 32 degrees and the barometer is rising at day break.
