Local band Order 67 is making an appearance at Holy Ground Coffee House Friday night.
Consisting of Douglas High School students Bobby Stiehler, Andy Hales, Caleb Brown and Jordan Weihskopf, the band plays a variety of music from ska, to reggae, to pop-rock.
The band writes their own music, with songs like "No News is Good News." Some of their biggest influences are Dashboard Confessional, Reel Big Fish, Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Jack's Mannequin and Armor For Sleep.
Order 67 has been performing as many local shows as they can. The shows are usually performed from the back yard or garage of one of the band members or friends of the band's homes.
From 7-9 p.m. Friday, the group will perform a concert at the Holy Ground Coffee House, 1267 Highway 395, Suite H, in Gardnerville.
Call Holy Grounds at 782-1961, for information on the concert.
