Brianna Kurtz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren and Donna Kurtz of Gardnerville was married to Seth Killian, son of Johnny Killian of Ione, Wash., and Susan Thompson of Caldwell, Idaho, on Sept. 2 at the Orchard House in Genoa.
Maid of honor was Aya Sakaguchi of Roanoke, Va., and the best man was Lucas Henderson of Arcata, Calif.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., with a degree in engineering and is currently pursuing a masters of mathematics degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating in May 2007. She is employed by Western Nevada Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of ITT Technical Institute, Boise, Idaho, with a degree in electronic engineering technology and is currently pursuing a commercial helicopter pilot's license through High Sierra Helicopters in Placerville, Calif. He is employed by GE Energy in Minden.
The couple will make their home in Gardnerville.
