Turkeys were made by students in Lorraine Felix's Thanksgiving pottery class.

At the first class the turkeys were made by molding the clay around a balloon. The turkeys were fired prior to the second class when the glaze was applied. The students attended a "pottery party" on Monday to pick up their masterpieces.

Felix's December children's pottery classes, offered through Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department, are already filled, but she will offer more classes in the spring.
