Lisa Goeringer
1955-2006
Lisa Goeringer, 51, a 15-year resident of Minden, died Nov. 14, 2006, in Minden. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
She was born Jan. 11, 1955 in Santa Monica, Calif. to Norm and Anita Sims Goeringer.
She is survived by her father Norm Goeringer; her twin sister Linda Goeringer; her brother Jeff Goeringer and nieces and nephew Amber and Dustin of Moab, Utah.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please donate to an animal shelter of your choice.
Don Hale
1928-2006
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Fish Springs Volunteer Fire Department for Don Hale, 78, a resident of Gardnerville since 1979.
Mr. Hale was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Fluvnanna, Texas, to William Jesse and Ara "Beaver" Hale. Prior to moving to Carson Valley, he was a resident of California. He worked as a repair supervisor for Bell Telephone in San Mateo, Calif., and Carson City for 30 years. He was a volunteer firefighter for East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts for 21 years. He enjoyed horse racing, hunting and silversmithing.
He was preceded in death by his brother Leon Hale and his daughter Jessica Gomes. He is survived by his wife Pat Sevire Hale of Gardnerville; son Jesse and his wife Sherrie of Gardnerville and daughter Sandy Hayes of Sacramento, Calif.; nephew Bill Hale of Reno; brothers William Hale of Arizona and Benjamin Hale of Arkansas as well as grandchildren Jason, Kassi, Daniele, Anna and Ray.
Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremation in Carson City.
