The Douglas junior varsity football team beat up on North Valleys last week, topping the Panthers 40-0 in north Reno.
Tim Rudnick passed for 220 yards and three touchdowns on 12 completions.
Tyler May ran for 98 yards and a touchdown and the Tiger defense shut out a very potent wing T offense.
VOLLEYBALL
Douglas drubbed Wooster 25-5, 25-5 Tuesday night at Douglas.
Jordan Marsh served 11 points in a row, including seven aecs.
Chloe Trudell served nine in a row, with three aces. Mysta Townsell served seven in a row with four aces.
Alyssa Hamilton served 11 in a row with four aces.
Jourdan Burke and Christine DuPuis had two aces apiece and Lindsay McKay had one for the night.
Mel Brown had great defensive play with five digs and four kills. Townsell added four kills, Marsh had two kills and Rebecca Antti, Burke, DuPuis and McKay each had one kill.
Katrina Morgan and Edna Meza had five digs apiece. The squad did not miss one serve the entire night.
Douglas is now 6-1 in league play and 17-3 overall.
