Edward M. Block, past grand master of Masons in Nevada, presented scholarship checks to Caleb Prudhomme and Kimberly Zink during a Masonic luncheon at Sharkey's Casino.
Caleb is in his second year at Western Nevada Community College in a pre-engineering curriculum.
Kimberly Zink is a 2006 Carson City High School graduate and will be in her first semester at WNCC. She will pursue an art major.
Local Masons and Sojourners meet at Sharkey's every Friday for lunch and contribute a dollar to the scholarship fund.
In the last 10 years, the Masonic Lunch Bunch has contributed over $10,000 to assist deserving local area students attend college.
