Incumbency: A candidate for office

Education: Graduated magna cum laude from Loma Linda University; attended the University of Southern California School of Law on a scholarship, graduating in 1980

Record of service: Deputy District Attorney in Clark County, 1990-1994; District Court Judge, 1994-1998; have handled more than 90 jury trials and presided over 25 murder trials in 25 years as a lawyer and a judge

Honors: Received Ronald Reagan Governor's Scholar Award in 1973; won "Judge of the Year" in 1996 as awarded by the Nevada Conference of Police and Sheriffs; has been endorsed by the Department of Homeland Security Officers (Western Region)

Platform: I am the co-author of the People's Initiative to Stop the Taking of Our Land, an initiative that will go before the voters this November and will put an end to government abuses of eminent domain. Recent years have seen a growing number of examples, both in Nevada and nationwide, of government taking private property under the guise of "valid public use."

Nevadans deserve an Attorney General who is dedicated to defending private property rights as well as the other liberties guaranteed by our Constitution.
