The Coleville Lady Wolves volleyball team has been on a hot streak as of late as they went 5-0 in the last week and 6-0 so far this month to improve to 12-3 overall on the year and 9-0 in league play.
On Saturday, the Wolves hosted Gerlach in a double header, 25-13, 25-6 and 25-10, 25-13.
In the first match, Amara Rowley and middle hitter Kayla Johnson were the dominating factors.
Rowley had 15 assists and eight aces while Johnson had seven kills.
Kymberlee Curti had five kills and Kim Torley had three.
Gerlach had a hard time returning Coleville's servers.
The Lady Wolves ended the match with 13 aces. Along with Rowley, Kassie Pemberton had two aces and Tawney Booher, Johnson and Curti each had one.
In the second match, Coleville won 25-10, 25-13. Again, it was Coleville's serving that carried the day with 13 aces.
This time, Sarah Holden had five aces, Curti had four, Johnson had three and Rowley finished with one.
Curti had nine kills, Johnson had three, Skyler Isbell had two and Jackie Beard and Torley each had one. Rowley ended the match with 17 assists.
Ashley Boyd had two digs.
On Friday, Coleville easily defeated Pyramid Lake twice with 25-15, 25-13 and 25-8, 25-15 victories.
Rowley had 16 assists in the first match while Curti had eight kills, Isbell had five kills and Johnson had two. Devin Nolan had one kill.
Claudia Merito led the Wolves in aces with five, Curti had four, Torley had two and Rowley, Booher and Pemberton each had one.
Nolan also had two blocks and Isbell had one.
Pemberton led the way in the second match with seven aces in nine serves and 10 total aces for the match.
Booher added three aces and Rowley brought down two more.
Johnson and Curti tied for kills with five each and Nolan added another two.
Torley had two blocks and Rowley had 15 assists.
Earlier in the week, Coleville topped Virginia City 25-10, 22-25, 25-15, 25-18.
Curti had 19 kills and three aces. Johnson had six kills, six blocks and three aces. Rowley had 37 assists and three kills and Isbell had nine kills.
Nolan finished with three kills and two blocks and Ashley Bord had three digs. Merito finished with three aces.
Coleville also beat rival Smith Valley two weeks ago in a thrilling comeback 23-25, 22-25, 27-25, 25-22, 15-10.
