Douglas County 4-H is participating in the 2006 Nevada State 4-H Exposition this weekend, beginning today. The exposition will take place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, with the following schedule:
Today -
8 a.m. Judging of static exhibits in the pavilion
10 a.m. Horse judging contest
2 p.m. Horse show - Western reining class and working cow horse classes
2:30 p.m. Dog show agility/rally in the grass area
6 p.m. Horse quiz bowl
Saturday -
8 a.m. Horse show in the main arena - order will be posted - halter, showmanship, Western pleasure, stock seat equitation, Western horsemanship, Western riding, gymkhana, trail
9 a.m. Dog show in the grass area - obedience, showmanship
9 a.m. Small animal show in the pavilion - rabbit show, cavy show, poultry show
10 a.m. Public speaking-visual presentations on the pavilion stage
11 a.m. Fashion revue judging on the pavilion stage
2-3 p.m. Health rocks training in the pavilion
3-4 p.m. Life rocks training, pavilion
4:30-5:30 p.m. Fashion revue - public viewing, winning public speaking/visual presentations - in the pavilion
5 p.m. 4-H Expo barbecue
5:30 p.m. State 4-H presentations and awards
8:30-10:30 p.m. 4-H Expo social and recreation
Sunday -
8 a.m. Horse show - English classes
