I have enjoyed serving as a Trustee for the Board for the last four years and I feel with my 40 years of accounting experience I make a good addition to the board.
I am dedicated to keeping the cost of running the district as low as possible. The district is very fortunate in that the other four members and the district manager are as dedicated as I am.
Our water rates are among the lowest in the state and I will continue to work to keep our rates as low as possible.
I am very enthused about the possibility of locating a Boys and Girls Club in the Ranchos. The board, along with the help of the Douglas County commissioners, has set aside a large parcel of land across from the CC Meneley Elementary School for the purpose of leasing this property for a very nominal cost to the Boys and Girls Club. I will do what I can to see that this comes to fruition within the next four years. I feel a Boys and Girls Club is much needed in Douglas County and can be a very positive influence to every child in the county. The cost is only $15 per child per year. I will be happy to talk to anyone who is interested in the project.
Please take the time to cast your vote in the upcoming election.
