The Douglas volleyball team continued its strongest play of the season over the last week with an impressive three-game sweep over North Valleys Thursday night in Reno.
The Tigers won 25-12, 25-11, 25-15 to improve to 17-10 overall and 7-3 in league play.
Jessica Waggoner had 11 kills and seven blocks to go along with one dig to lead the Tigers while Taryn Williams had 10 kills, one block and two aces.
Bridget Maestretti put up six kills and had one block and Ali Witteman had four kills and one ace.
Jennifer Stice and Kaylee Hall each had two kills and Megan Mitchell had 37 assists, one block and three aces.
Megan Myers had one kills, three blocks and two aces and Mary Lombino had two digs for the Tigers.

Douglas beat North Valleys 25-20, 25-23, using a strong team effort on defense and consistent serves.
Jordan Marsh had 11 service points and two aces and Christine DuPuis had nine service points with one ace.
Mel Brown contributed five service points with one ace and Lindsay McKay added four service points and one ace.
Jourdan Burke also served three straight aces in game one.
Alyssa Hamilton had six digs and Katrina Morgan also played well on defense.
Brown, Marsh and Mysta Townsell each had three hits for the night and Edna Meza, McKay, DuPuis, Rebecca Antti and Burke each had one kill. Marsh finished with 12 assists.
On Tuesday, Douglas beat Damonte Ranch 25-15, 25-21. Townsell served 12 points with eight aces in the first game and Antti had two kills while Bruke, Townsell and Christine DuPuis had one kill respectively.
In the second game, Marsh had seven points with two aces, Chloe Trudell had three points with one ace and Hamilton had three kills. Brown had two kills and McKay had one kill. Marsh again had 12 assists.
Douglas improved to 20-3 overall and 9-1 in league.
