Equine clinic offered by Posse and Great Basin

The Douglas County Sheriff's Mounted Posse and Great Basin Equine Medicine and Surgery, Inc. are hosting an equine vet clinic 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

The clinic will be limited to semi-annual shots (including the West Nile virus booster), worming, teeth and sheath cleaning and Coggin's testing to detect equine infectious anemia.

Appointments are required. Brand inspections will also be available.
