Volleyball: Douglas sweeps Hug

The Douglas volleyball team picked up its fifth win in the last seven games Thursday night, sweeping past Hug 25-7, 25-14, 25-17 in Reno.

Jessica Waggoner and Megan Myers each had nine kills while Waggoner added eight blocks and three aces.

Myers added four aces and one block and Ali Witteman had six kills, one block and one ace.

Jennifer Stice had five kills, two blocks and two aces, Kaelie Hall had four kills and one ace and Alyssa Todd had three kills, two blocks and one ace.

Megan Mitchell had 34 assists, two kills and four aces and Mary Lombino had eight digs.

Douglas ran its record to 19-10 overall and 9-3 on the year.
