The Douglas girls' soccer team wrapped up an unbeaten home slate over the weekend, topping No. 6 Reno 1-0 Saturday in Minden.
Both defenses had strong afternoons, allowing five saveable shots on goal between the two teams.
It was Douglas' Morgan LeFever, however, that broke the tie with an unassisted goal in the 65th minute.
With the goal, LeFever tied the Northern 4A record for goals in a season (23) and moved into a tie for second place all-time in the Northern 4A for goals in a career. Julia Spaulding (1997-99) still holds the record with 55, but LeFever now stands with Christina Bradshaw (2001-04) at 53.
Jamie Greer posted her fifth shutout of the season in the win as Douglas improved to 9-5-4 overall and 7-3-3 in league play.
