The Douglas County Public Library in Minden presents a special musical program featuring Trinkle Brass Works 7 p.m. today. The brass ensemble will perform at the CVIC Hall, located at 1602 Esmeralda Ave. in Minden.
Highly trained musicians skilled in performance and education perform the Trinkle Brass Works program. The audience will have an opportunity to see various instruments from the 15th and 16th centuries, hear how they sound and compare their sound with current instruments. The musicians will include a variety of music from different composers and styles. The performance is appropriate for ages 8 and older.
