Volleyball: Coleville takes twin bill against Sage Ridge

The Coleville volleyball team took two matches from Sage Ridge in Reno last week, winning 25-9, 23-25, 15-13 and 20-25, 25-10, 18-16.


In the first match, Kymberlee Curti had nine killes, three aces and one block and Kayla Johnson had seven kills, three blocks, two aces and one assist.


Amara Rowley had 13 assists and three aces and Kassie Pemberton had four aces and Skyler Isbell had one kill.


In the second match, Curti had 17 kills, three aces and one dig.


Johnson had six kills and two aces, Kim Torley had two aces, two assists, one kill and one block.


Isbell had two blocks and two aces and Rowley had 21 assists and one ace. Devin Nolan had one kill and Claudia Merito had one ace.


The doubleheader win brought the Wolves to 19-6 overall and 14-0 in league.


Coleville will open the regional playoffs Friday in Elko as the No. 1 seed from the West and play at 8 p.m. against either Carlin or Wells.
