The Partnership of Community Resources is hosting a series of free Prevention Nights during the 2006-07 school year. These are evenings where whole families can come and hear experts speak on relevant issues. Babysitting and refreshments are provided as well as information and an opportunity to anonymously ask questions in a town hall meeting format.

The first prevention night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church.

The topic is Smoking Buddies: Tobacco and Marijuana.

The November ballot will have two questions on clean air and one on the legalization of marijuana.

Voters will have the opportunity to obtain information on both issues in order to make an informed decision in November.

For more information about these presentations visit the Web site, www.partnership-resource.org or call 782-8611.
