A funeral service for Faith Caroline Fischmann, 5 months, 26 days old, of Minden, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hilltop Community Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Faith died Sept. 26, 2006, in Minden.
Born March 31, 2006, in Carson City to Mitchell and Diana Fischmann with trisomy 18, which her mother said is considered incompatible with life.
"She did lots of things," her mother said. "She wasn't supposed to live but she did and she made a difference. She affected many lives in her short little life."
Among her survivors are her parents of Minden; sisters Lindsay, Shaylene, Haley and Grace Fischmann; brothers Nathan and Brandon Fischmann; and several extended-family members.

Thomas B. Gray
1919-2006
Thomas B. Gray, 87, an eight year resident of Carson City, died Sept. 25, 2006, in Carson City.
Mr. Gray was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Jerome, Ariz., to William J. Gray Sr. and Pearl O'Bryan Gray. He graduated from Jerome High School in 1935 and served in the Army Air Force as a sergeant major from 1940-1945 during World War II. He married Adna Burdeen Gray, Nov. 15, 1942 in Fresno, Calif. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He lived in Reno for 10 years and South Lake Tahoe for 26 years before moving to Carson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Phyllis Powell and his brother William J. Gray Jr. He is survived by his wife Adna Burdeen Gray of Carson City, his son Thomas B. Gray Jr. of Windsor, Calif.; his son and daughter-in-law Mark B. and Sandra S. Gray of Carson City; his daughter and son-in-law Janet and Cliff Yamaoka of Santa Clara, Calif. as well as two step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith with cremation to take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to a charitable organization of your choice.
Harry Wayne
Manning
1920-2006
Harry Wayne Manning, 86, died Sept 21, 2006, in the Evergreen Nursing Facility in Gardnerville. Mr. Manning was born July 26, 1920 in Salt Lake City. He grew up in Rock Springs, Wyo. He moved to Encinitas, Calif., in 1972 with his wife, Hilda who died in 1997. For the last four years Mr. Manning has resided at Merrill Gardens in Gardnerville.
He is survived by his son, John Wayne Manning of Gardnerville, and by two daughters, Bonnie Carol Manning of Gardnerville, and Cindy Lee Yeoman of Laramie, Wyo. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements and cremation are in the care of Northern Nevada Memorial Services. The family will have a private memorial.
Donna Miller
1927-2006
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 7 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gardnerville for Donna Miller, 79, who lost her battle with Alzheimer's disease, Sept. 6, 2006, at Merrill Gardens in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Miller was born June 30, 1927, in Kingston, Minn., the youngest of eight children. She married Frank Miller on June 2,1951. They were together 45 years until his death in 1996. She lived in San Rafael, Calif. until her diagnosis when she relocated to Gardnerville to be closer to family.
She is survived by her sister, Audrey Huhtelin of Minden as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family of Donna Miller would like to thank the staff of Merrill Gardens for the loving and respectful care they provided her.
Eddy Loren Wright
1967-2006
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 1644 Highway 395 in Gardnerville for Eddy Loren Wright, 39, who died Sept. 27, 2006, in Reno.
Mr. Wright was born Jan. 17, 1967, in Arcadia, Calif., to Pat and Rose Wright. He married Lori Wright on Nov. 1, 2004, in Oahu, Hawaii. He was the manager of Economy Transmission in Gardnerville and a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. He was a resident of California before moving to Gardnerville.
He is survived by his wife Lori Silva Wright, his son Eddy Loren Wright Jr. and stepchildren Steven and Samantha Stevens of Minden. He is also survived by his parents Pat and Rose Wright, grandparents Della and Rowland Lyons of Smith Valley; brother Andy Wright of Apple Valley, Calif.; aunts and uncles, Dan and Bonnie Lyons of Carson City, Judy and Paul Kemper of Topaz, Calif. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are in the care of Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden. Cremation to take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City. Memorial contributions can be made in the family's name to the Business Bank in Minden, Acct. No. 5204526.
