Rena Anthony


1928-2007


A funeral service will be 1 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville for Rena Anthony, 78, who died April 2, 2007, in Carson City.


Ms. Anthony was born Dec. 11, 1928 in Markleeville to John and May Longabough Anthony. She lived in Gardnerville before moving back to Markleeville. She worked as a housekeeper.


She is survived by her niece Nadine Weller of Carson City; nephew James Anthony of Markleeville; great nieces Teresa K. Orlando of Fallon, Jennifer M. Weller and Stephanie M. Queuedo, both of Carson City; great nephews John Washsmath of Hawthorne, Gerred Washsmath of Battle Mountain and sisters Ninga Anthony and Madelina Henry, both of Markleeville.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home. A visitation was Thursday at FitzHenry's. Burial will take place at the Woodfords Indian Cemetery in Woodfords.


Arthur D. Pascoe


1942-2007


Arthur D. Pascoe died of a heart attack on March 29, 2007. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Linda, two daughters, two sons-in-law, two grandchildren, two sisters and many relatives and friends.


He was born in 1942 in Fresno, Calif. He spent the majority of his life raising his family in Southern California. In 1998, Mr. Pascoe and his wife relocated to Gardnerville to enjoy his dream of living near the mountains.


He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Justin Amandus Stegemann


1990-2007


A celebration of life for Justin Amandus Stegemann, 17, of Avon, Ind., will be 3:30 p.m. April 10, 2007 at the Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 East U.S. 36, Avon, Ind. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel.


Justin was born Jan. 11, 1990 in Orange, Calif., to David and Wendy (Masiello) Stegemann. He was a student at Avon High School, accomplished pilot in training, rock star, played bass and piano. He was very involved in football, wrestling, soccer, golf and in racing as a driver and crewman. He was also an accomplished poet with a publication due to be released in the spring. His passion for life touched everyone he met.


He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Masiello. He is survived by his parents, his sister Alicia Jean Stegemann; grandparents Ann and Arthur Stegemann and John Masiello; aunts Judy Stegemann, Ellen Stegemann, Anne Marie Stegemann, Denise Yaugher, Dianna Klarich; uncles Bob Stegemann and his wife Karen, Peter Stegemann and his wife Raeanne and Jerry Yaugher; great uncle and aunt Charlie and Bertha Stegemann; cousins Meghan, Nick, Matt, Stephanie, Katie, Chloe, Ashley, Sarah and Emily. Arrangements are in the care of Conkle Funeral Home in Avon, Ind.
