Bike drive a successEditor:

A special thanks to all those who donated bikes to the Carson Valley Middle School bike drive on March 24. Thanks to your donations, we were able to collect over 50 bikes and various parts. All donations were delivered to China Spring Youth Facility for refurbishing and will be given away in the 2007 Project Santa Claus. Donations are accepted year-round. Contact the Carson Valley Kiwanis Club, Mike Henningsen, 782-5807, for more information. Thanks again for making this event a success.

Silver Spirit Cheer Club would like to congratulate our youth squad for bringing home a third place trophy, competing against 12 teams from JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas and to all our girls that participated and worked so hard this season.

We would like to give a special thanks to our head coach, Halee Young, for all her hard work and dedication to our squads this season. You did an awesome job. We would also like to thank Marissa Rau for volunteering so much of her time to help out with our senior squad. We really appreciate the both of you.

A thank-you to all the parents for all their support throughout the season and a special thanks to the following community sponsors for their generosity.
