The Bureau of Land Management will be doing a prescribed burn near Indian Creek Reservoir this morning. The feds say not to be surprised to see a big old plume of smoke rising down there.
Bridge work is supposed to continue through today, this time on Muller Lane and Genoa Lanes. To be honest, we went looking for the crews on Wednesday and haven't caught anyone. But the report is there on the state's Web site big as life. It says traffic will be down to one lane between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as work is recurring daily. They're supposed to be done today.
Today's weather should be gorgeous with mostly sunny skies and the high temperature hitting 70 degrees. It won't be so windy today, with breezes of 10-13 mph. On Friday, Ma Nature brings the real heat with the highs climbing to 78 and Saturday it goes to 80. Don't get too comfy, yet. The Weather Service is predicting a big cool-down next week with the high dropping back to 59 degrees.
