Tom and Mindy Schuler of Gardnerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Schuler, to DJ Rasmusson, son of Dale and Gale Rasmusson, all of Gardnerville.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Douglas High School. She attended Western Nevada Community College in 2006. Schuler is a student at the University of Nevada, Reno, and employed as a teacher of science and biology at Dayton High School.
The future groom is a 2005 Douglas High School graduate. He attended Western Nevada Community College and Welding A.S. in 2007. He is currently working as a manager of Pizza Factory in Dayton.
The wedding is set for Aug. 18, 2007, at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
