Classic cars take to the streets in the Valley Cruisers 20th Annual Main Street Event beginning Friday on Esmeralda Ave. in Minden. Festivities start with a barbecue dinner at 5 p.m., live music is provided by Rush Hour from 6-10 p.m. and in-between eating and dancing, there will be up to 250 participating classic cars to check out.
The Main Street Event continues at Lampe Park on Saturday and Sunday with more show and shine events, pancake breakfasts, DJ music, raffles and a fashion parade with cars from the 1920s to 1970s featuring models in period costumes.
There is an opportunity to buy or sell any model car at the car corral at Lampe Park on Saturday and Sunday. Sellers fee $25.
