First lady to speak to Douglas Republicans

First lady Dawn Gibbons will be the guest speaker at the Douglas County Republican Central Committee meeting on Thursday.

The committee will host its monthly meeting on the second floor of the Judicial and Law Enforcement Building on Buckeye Road in Minden.

A social with homemade cookies along with coffee will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jack Van Dien will discuss immigration at 7 p.m.

The general meeting will be called to order at 7:30 p.m. The public is welcomed to attend.
