Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School will host a seventh-grade orientation scavenger hunt 3-5 p.m. Aug. 22 at the school. Refreshments will be served in the school cafetorium between 5-6 p.m.
All incoming seventh-graders are encouraged to attend the orientation so they can become familiar with the school prior to the first day of school on Aug. 27.
In addition to the scavenger hunt, new principal Keith Lewis will host two seventh-grade parent orientations on the same day to discuss school procedures and to answer any questions parents might have. The first session will go from 3 -3:30 p.m. and the second session will go from 5:30-6 p.m.
Pau-Wa-Lu's annual Back-To-School Night is 6 p.m. Sept. 5.
After an official greeting by Lewis, participants will progress through the "day" as students would follow their schedules.
Each class is setup in 10-minute blocks.
Anyone with questions should call the school at 265-6100.
