"The Curse of the Hanging Tree" is a history spoof based on the most infamous lynching in Nevada history. Ticket holders have the opportunity to visit some of the actual sites where events took place in 1897. No two performances are the same, as there are no scripts or rehearsals and performances are improvised. Every performance is different, the actors are just as surpassed as the audience most of the time.
"The Curse of the Hanging Tree" is a major fundraiser for the Douglas County Historical Society and participation is appreciated. To be a part of this re-creation, call Shannon or Laurie at 782-2893.
