The Wal-Mart is holding a grand re-opening in about an hour. They've been renovating for awhile and it looks like that's all over now. During the ceremony, Wal-Mart will be donating money to more than a dozen causes.
I'm told they'll be holding a good old fashioned bar raising in Centerville to start work on the Valley Bar on Saturday. Organizer Linda Brown said there will be a shovel party to break ground.
We seem of have survived the red flag warning without any new fires, which is a good thing. The flag will stay folded up through the weekend and the high temperatures will continue to drop. The high for today is predicted to be 89 and will go as low as 86 by Sunday. Its chilly this morning in Genoa at 45 degrees.
