The hot July temperatures didn't hamper the flow of donations from the community. The Carson Valley Food Closet extends thanks to those who donated for the month of July.

The Carson Valley Community Food Closet is located at 1255 Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville. Hours are 1-4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday.
