New spa in Topaz Ranch Estates

In the arid, sage-shot hills of Topaz Ranch Estates, visitors can find an oasis, Angel Hands Spa.

Behind Charlotte Weaver's home lies a secret garden shaded by mature trees, adorned with statues and a small gurgling fountain. In the front of the arbor sits a large, wood-paneled hot tub that Weaver uses in her various healing techniques.

Weaver moved to Topaz in 1994 to care for her father.

While caring for him, she learned her healing technique, doing her best to mitigate her father's illness with massage and spa therapy.

What Weaver learned, she applied to her career, becoming a nationally certified massage therapist and member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She worked for Club Spa in Minden before opening her own practice.

"My life's purpose is to heal with love and massage," Weaver said.

Weaver specializes in Lomilomi massage, which addresses the muscles, improves circulation, restores vitality and stimulates the lymphatic system.

Weaver also offers Swedish-style massages, hot stones, acupressure, ear candling, Reiki and vibrational healing, steam detoxification and Japanese facials. Angel Hands Spa is open Monday through Saturday by appointment. Weaver can be reached at 266-3795.
