The National Weather Service reports that occasional rain showers should develop over Carson Valley this afternoon,
Tonight there is a 90 percent chance of precipitation with both rain and snow expected as the temperatures will eventually drop to a low of 28.
More snow showers are expected Friday, although snow accumulations are expected to be less than one inch.
The snow showers should continue through early Saturday morning before the skies clear up and the temperatures drop into the mid-30s on Sunday.
