The Douglas County Sheriff's Office reported 13 contacts for domestic violence Nov. 28-Dec. 4.
There were six verbal domestics, one arrest for domestic battery, one arrest on a warrant, four referrals to the district attorney's office for review of battery charges and two reviews of temporary protection order violations.
One referral was made to the district attorney to issue an arrest warrant for battery.
Four juveniles witnessed domestic violence with two juvenile suspects in verbal domestics for six juvenile contacts.
The Family Support Council submitted one request for an anti-stalking and harassment order to East Fork Justice Court for approval.
Connie Richardson, sheriff's office domestic violence prevention coordinator, said the average range for domestic violence contacts is 16-22 per week for this time frame.
The average number of children witnessing domestic violence is 9-11 per week with juvenile suspects at 0-2 per week for the time period.
