In Game two of perhaps Douglas' biggest week of the preseason, the Tiger boys' basketball team showed little signs of slowing down, picking up an 83-58 win over McQueen in north Reno Wednesday night.
Douglas got significant contribution from its bench, getting 13 points from CJ Marcotte and 10 from Nick Hales.
Starters Jeff Nady (10 points), James McLaughlin (10) and David Laird (9) helped account for the bulk of the scoring.
Douglas improved to 7-3 on the year overall and travels to Galena for a rematch of last year's regional title game at 7 p.m. Friday.
Douglas routed Wooster 85-40 Tuesday night, meaning that the Tigers have outscored their opponents 168-98 over the first two games of this week.
