Even when it came to the few matches on the mat, the Douglas wrestling team had little trouble with South Tahoe Wednesday night.

The Tigers improved to 2-2 in league duals with a 68-6 win, getting individual wins from Dillon Spates (103 pounds), Tim Souza (119) and Eddie Kollar (125).

Douglas didn't field a heavyweight wrestler, so the Vikings picked up a forfeit win there, but outside of that the Tigers took forfeit wins in the remaining 10 matches.

"The matches we did have, the kids wrestled solid," Douglas coach Lamont McCann said. "They went after the win, even though with the numbers of it we knew we had a win before we even got off the bus.

"The kids that wrestled worked hard."

Douglas also competed in a number of exhibitions on the night as Cody Spates, Dillon Spates and Justin Freeman each picked up wins in those.

Douglas next travels to the Sierra Nevada Classic in Reno starting Dec. 27.
