BASEBALL

Bryan Miller, jr., OF, Troy University: Season opens on Feb. 9 against Arkansas.

Cal Lewis, sr., 3B, South Dakota State: Season opens Feb. 9 at Kansas.

Chris Honer, soph., P, Point Loma: The Sea Lions improves to 4-0 on the year with a 4-3 win over CSU San Marcos.

Chad Walling, soph., INF, Western Nevada: Started in an 8-3 loss to Southwestern, played in a 12-0 loss to Santa Ana and had a hit in an 8-6 loss to Santa Ana.

Shane Cauley, jr., OF, Chico State: Went 1-for-1 in a 9-5 win over Hawaii Pacific and 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs in a 10-1 win over Hawaii Pacific as the Wildcats won their first five games of the season.

D.J. Brady, fr., OF, Mesa College: Season opens Feb. 13 against Chandler-Gilbert.

SOFTBALL

Kristy Olsen, jr., 3B/OF, Iowa State: Season opens Feb. 9 against Kennesaw State.

Brittany Puzey, soph., OF, Nevada: Season opens Feb. 9 against Western Michigan and Arizona.

Valerie Smith, soph., C, Columbia: Season opens March 2 against Penn State.
