Artisans International Gallery and Artistic Viewpoints Gallery will be celebrating their month-long art exhibit with a wine and cheese reception for the artists in the Eagles 'n Ag art exhibit 5-7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Artisans International Gallery.
The exhibit features artists in a variety of mediums including photography, pastel, watercolor, oil, scratch art, ceramic, and bronze. The Reno/Carson/Lake Tahoe artists in the exhibit include Anne Armijo, Nancy Bargman, Todd Branscombe, Nancy Clarke, David Colon, Tracey DeJong, Robert Feltman, Paul Hernandez, Steve Johns, Sue Lapp, Margie Leslie, Loretta Lee Netzel, Steve Noble, Nanette Oleson, Arlene Origoni, Margo Petterson, Kathy Slinkard, Teri Sweeney, Ulla Warner, Sue Welch, and Frank Williams. Also featured in the exhibit is Russian artist and ceramist, Anatoly Turov, who is offering several limited edition cows and horses with whimsical designs on them.
The exhibit and sale will run through March 3 at both galleries. Anyone who visits both galleries during the exhibit will be entered into a drawing for several art prizes offered by the two galleries. Artisans International Gallery is located at 1653 Lucerne St, Suite B in Minden Village and Artistic Viewpoints Gallery and Studio is located at 1368 Highway 395 Suite B in Gardnerville.
