The Douglas County Parks & Recreation annual Father/Daughter Dance was sold out as it has been every year, Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. 'We had 500 capacity and we sold out about two weeks before the event,' said recreation coordinator Keris Meyers-Dahlkamp, adding that it has been sold out for as long as he can remember. 'The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department is honored that the community supports this event the way it does,' he said. 'Without the community support it wouldn't be the wonderful Carson Valley tradition that it is.'
