BASKETBALL

Autumn Burtt, fr., F, Lassen College: Lassen beat Siskiyous 100-97, beat Feather River 78-57 and beat Shasta 80-57.

Leeja James, fr., F, Lassen College: Lassen has scored more than 100 points in three games this season.

Nick Lonnegren, soph., G, Butte College: The Roadrunners improved to 11-12 overall and 4-4 in conference play last week with wins over Lassen (79-60) and Redwoods (74-53).

BASEBALL

Bryan Miller, jr., OF, Troy University: Went 1-for-1 with an RBI in a 13-8 win over Arkansas.

Cal Lewis, sr., 3B, South Dakota State: Hit a solo home run in a 6-5 win over Kansas, scored a run in a 3-2 loss to Kansas and hit another solo shot in a 4-1 loss to Kansas to open the year.

Chris Honer, soph., P, Point Loma: Struck out three and allowed one run in two innings of work in an 11-8 loss to CSU San Marcos.

Chad Walling, soph., INF, Western Nevada: Scored a run in a 10-4 win over Midland College and went 1-for-2 with a stolen base in a 5-5 tie against New Mexico.

Shane Cauley, jr., OF, Chico State: Cauley is batting .500 through five games played with two RBIs.

D.J. Brady, fr., OF, Mesa College: Season opened Feb. 13 against Chandler-Gilbert.

SOFTBALL

Kristy Olsen, jr., 3B/OF, Iowa State: Olsen started four of the Cyclones first five games and batted .400 with and RBI and a stolen base. Iowa State went 2-3 in its season-opening tournament.

Brittany Puzey, soph., OF, Nevada: The Wolf Pack took on two of the top 10 teams in the country over the weekend in No. 1 Arizona and No. 3 UCLA. Puzey started all of Nevada's first five games, batting .333 with a double, a home run, one stolen base and three RBIs.

Valerie Smith, soph., C, Columbia: Season opens March 2 against Penn State.

TRACK & FIELD

Daniel Sipko, jr. , Eastern Oregon: No meet last week.

Kevin Carlson, soph., Southwestern Oregon: Stats not available.

HOCKEY

Lauren Martin, fr., C/RW, St. Catherine's ice hockey: St. Catherines a 4-1 loss to St. Benedict Friday.
