Accident shuts down Centerville

A single vehicle accident shut down Centerville Lane at Lutheran Bridge between Gardnerville and the Gardnerville Ranchos 6:17 p.m. today.

The vehicle reportedly hit a guardrail on the bridge at about 6:15 p.m. The force of the collision set off the airbag and caused moderate damage to the vehicle.

The vehicle's occupants were outside and ambulatory when medics arrived.
